OneCount: Shared Inventory — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
What we collect
When you install OneCount, we store only what the app needs to keep your stock in sync:
- Your store’s domain and the access token Shopify issues to the app.
- The product variants, inventory item IDs, location IDs and stock counts in the pools you create, plus a short activity log of stock changes.
We do not collect or store any information about your customers: no names, emails, addresses, orders or payment details.
How we use it
Only to keep the stock of variants in your pools in sync and to show you what the app did. We never sell or share your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Where it’s stored
Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and processed by our hosting provider. Connections are encrypted.
Retention and deletion
If you uninstall the app, syncing stops immediately. Shopify then asks us to delete your store’s data (usually 48 hours later), and we delete everything we hold for your store. You can also delete individual pools at any time inside the app.
